Gravel statistics of the Canton of Zurich from 1990
This dataset provides annual statistics on gravel extraction in the Canton of Zurich, compiled since 1990 by the Amt für Abfall, Wasser, Energie und Luft (Office for Waste, Water, Energy and Air) of the Canton of Zurich. It records the volume of gravel removed and the installation of excavation sites, along with residual gravel quantities remaining after extraction. The data also indicate the share of material transported by rail rather than road, and track the extent of open, unrehabilitated extraction areas over time.
