This API provides a cross-reference dataset linking French postal codes to INSEE municipality codes, built by combining the 2015 edition of the Geofla Communes geographic database with the official postal code database. It covers all municipalities in France and is useful for matching postal codes to administrative commune identifiers, geolocation tasks, and other applications requiring correspondence between postal and INSEE coding systems.
