This API provides geodata on soil horizons, the layers within soil that share uniform characteristics and properties distinguishing them from the layers above and below. The dataset covers profile and horizon information and is made available as a WFS/WMS service by LGV Hamburg (Landesbetrieb Geoinformation und Vermessung), the Hamburg state authority for geoinformation and surveying. It is intended for use in soil science, land-use planning, and environmental assessment within the Hamburg metropolitan area.Bodenhorizonte sind Bereiche innerhalb des Bodens, die einheitlich ähnliche Merkmale und Eigenschaften besitzen und sich von darüberliegenden oder darunterfolgenden Bereichen unterscheiden. Die Geodaten werden als WMS-Darstellungsdienst bereitgestellt.
