This dataset lists international travel undertaken by senior officials at the UK Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), covering staff at grade SCS2 (or equivalent) and above, on a quarterly basis. It draws primarily on bookings made through the department's central booking system, which accounts for most travel, though some journeys booked through other systems may not yet be included. Certain entries may be redacted where publication could compromise national or personal security. The dataset is published by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.This report shows international travel undertaken by BIS Senior Officials at SCS2 (or equivalent) and above. The report includes bookings made through the department’s central booking system. This will include the majority of travel undertaken. However, individuals may have booked a small number of journeys through other systems. Work is ongoing to ensure that this data is incorporated into future reports.
