Biogas plants
Dataset covering biogas plants in Switzerland, published by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (BFE) under the Swiss Confederation. Biogas plants convert organic matter into gas through fermentation, producing a mixture composed mainly of methane and carbon dioxide, which can be used to generate electricity, heat and fuel. Switzerland has more than 100 such plants.
