Charging requirements: Home charging availability in the ‘Flexible’ charging world for the year 2035
This dataset presents modeled projections for Switzerland showing, for selected municipalities, the share of plug-in vehicles (battery electric and plug-in hybrid) that will lack charging facilities at home or work in 2035 under a 'Flexible' charging scenario. It also reports the proportion of plug-in vehicles unable to charge at home, expressed as a decimal figure. The data is published by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (BFE) as part of national energy and transport planning work, and can support analysis of future charging infrastructure needs and gaps at the municipal level across Switzerland.The map shows the percentage of plug-in vehicles (battery electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids) per selected municipality that will have no charging facilities at home or at work in 2035.
