This dataset defines the longitudinal sections of road reserved for bicycle traffic, corresponding to cycle paths. It describes how such paths can be implemented: as a dedicated one-way or two-way lane physically separated from motor vehicle and pedestrian traffic, or through other configurations recognized under Italian road regulations.
