Aree di circolazione ciclabiliCycle traffic areas
This dataset defines cycle traffic areas, that is, the longitudinal sections of a road that are specifically delimited and reserved for the circulation of bicycles. According to the source definition, a cycle path may be built in its own dedicated space, either one-way or two-way, physically separated from the lanes used by motor vehicles and pedestrians, or through other configurations described in the technical specification. The dataset is published as part of an Italian municipal geographic information system and can be downloaded via a dedicated API endpoint, supporting mapping and planning of cycling infrastructure at the local level.
