This API published by Aix-Marseille-Provence Métropole provides, for each municipality (identified by department, name and INSEE code), the list of controlled/protected designation of origin (AOC/AOP) wine geographic areas located within it. The dataset links municipal boundaries to the wine appellations overlapping them, allowing users to determine which AOC/AOP zones apply to a given commune.
