This dataset provides the seismic zoning classification for the Pays de la Loire region, part of the national seismic hazard map introduced in France on 22 October 2010. It divides the territory into five zones of increasing seismicity based on the probability of earthquake occurrence, as defined by articles R563-1 to R563-8 of the Environmental Code, amended by decree no. 2010-1254.
