This dataset shows the indicative positions of trees and groups of trees protected by Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) made by West Lindsey District Council in England. A Tree Preservation Order is issued by a local planning authority to protect specific trees, groups of trees, or woodlands from deliberate damage, destruction, or unauthorised work such as felling, topping, lopping, or uprooting.
