Web Map Service for topsoil properties from the Countryside Survey of Great Britain, 2007 using a generalized additive model
This Web Map Service delivers modelled estimates of topsoil properties across Great Britain at 1km2 resolution, including soil pH, carbon concentration (g kg-1), nitrogen concentration (% dry weight soil), and invertebrate density (individuals per m2). Estimates were derived using a Generalized Additive Model applied to soil survey data collected as part of the Countryside Survey of Great Britain, 2007.
