Weather forecast data HARMONIE-AROME
The dataset contains the latest weather forecast data produced by the Finnish Meteorological Institute using the HARMONIE-AROME weather model. The data cover, for example, basic weather parameters close to the ground, such as 2 m temperature, 10 m wind speed and direction, surface pressure, cloudiness and precipitation. The HARMONIE-AROME weather model is run four times a day (00, 06, 12 and 18 UTC), each with a forecast length of 66 hours. HARMONIE-AROME is a limited area model whose calculation area covers the Scandinavian region, the Norwegian Sea and the Baltic region. The horizontal lattice spacing used in the model is 2.5 km. The coordinate system used in the calculation of the model is in Lambert's projection.
