This dataset presents results from a survey conducted by the Directorate General of Transparency and Quality among users of the Open Data Portal of the City of Madrid, aiming to understand their usage habits. Topics addressed include frequency of use, types of data downloaded, ease of use and navigation, variety and usefulness of the data catalog, adequacy of formats, and update frequency. Respondents were also invited to propose new portal functionalities and to evaluate existing participation and communication channels. The survey was published by the Ayuntamiento de Madrid (Madrid City Council) as part of its transparency and open data initiatives.The Directorate General of Transparency and Quality has promoted the conduct of a survey among users of the Open Data Portal of the City of Madrid, in order to know their habits of use. Issues raised with portal re-users include the frequency of use, the type of data downloaded, aspects related to ease of use and navigation, the variety and usefulness of the data catalog, the adequacy of the formats or the frequency of updating. Likewise, the possibility of proposing new functionalities to include within the portal has been offered, and the evaluation of the forms of participation and communication has been requested.
