This WMS view service, published by the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI), provides maps showing blooms of cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) detected from satellite data around Sweden. Blooms visible at or near the sea surface are shown directly, while blooms that are faint or obscured beneath the surface are classified as a lower-confidence category, such as a risk of surface accumulation.
