This national French API provides geospatial data for locating establishments classified under the SEVESO directive, which aims to prevent major accidents involving hazardous substances and limit their consequences for people and the environment. It distinguishes between SEVESO establishment thresholds and provides mapping capabilities for all such sites across France. The service is maintained by the Bureau de recherches géologiques et minières (BRGM).
