This dataset provides symbology for regional settlement boundaries defined within regional spatial planning programmes in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. These boundaries limit building-land designations or land-use categories with equivalent effect, aiming to preserve the recreational value of the landscape and the functionality of agriculture and forestry, to proactively avoid land-use conflicts, and to coordinate settlement development.
