This API provides geospatial indications of legally protected or partially protected biotope areas under Section 30(2) of the Federal Nature Conservation Act (BNatSchG) and Section 13(1) of the Hesse implementing law (HAGBNatSchG). The data results from an evaluation of the Hessian Biotope Mapping (Hessische Biotopkartierung, HB) survey.
