This dataset provides average retail selling prices calculated from the price surveys collected for the consumer price index (CPI) in France. It is published by INSEE, the French national statistics institute. Some time series start as far back as 1992, allowing analysis of price trends for various consumer goods and services over an extended period. The data is useful for monitoring retail price levels and their evolution at national level.Les prix moyens de vente de détail sont calculés à partir des relevés de prix collectés dans le cadre du calcul de l'indice des prix à la consommation (IPC). Certaines séries débutent en 1992.
