This dataset stems from a study by the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment of Southwest Finland (Varsinais-Suomi ELY Centre) examining the possible expansion of sewerage network areas in Southwest Finland. Using defined criteria and calculation methods, the study assesses in which areas connecting properties to a shared sewerage system would be a more cost-effective option than maintaining property-specific wastewater treatment systems.
