Positioning points
Highly precise location points or trigonometric points distributed over the country form the basis for a uniform location fixed point field. Since 2004, the State Office for Digitalization, Broadband and Surveying has only been responsible for location points at hierarchy levels C and D. The trigonometric fixed-point field for the realization of the historical situation reference system DHDN90 (Deutsches Hauptdreiecksnetz 1990) was discontinued in Bavaria in 2004. The official geodetic spatial reference has since been realized by GNSS measurements (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) in the geodetic base network. For all points there are coordinates in ETRS89 (EPSG: 6258). Location points can be given as a data sheet (with sketch) or as a point list (without sketch).
