PEGELONLINE
PEGELONLINE REST-API is a simple interface to retrieve different aquatic information from PEGELONLINE. The API is resource-oriented, i.e. a number of resources are defined that can be uniquely addressed via HTTP URLs. The resources can be represented in different ways, i.e. in different formats. Currently, JSON notation and a diagram representation as PNG is also supported for the measured raw data. To speed up or avoid data transfer, HTTP compression and client-side caching are supported. The API is currently available in version 2 and can be addressed below https://www.pegelonline.wsv.de/webservices/rest-api/v2. The data is generated in JSON notation. The measured raw data of PEGELONLINE can still be queried as a diagram. No authentication or authorization is required to use the PEGELONLINE REST API.
