This dataset, published by the Generalitat de Catalunya, unifies European, Spanish, and regional Catalan regulations governing the production and marketing of plant material and varietal authenticity of marketed material. It covers production, storage, marketing, and placing on the market of plants, plant products, and other items useful in agriculture and forestry, official seed certification, cleaning of self-fertilizing cereal grains and legumes, bulk seed marketing, plant material produced for own-farm use, and local varieties of agricultural interest in Catalonia. As of March 2024, the dataset formerly known as the Official Register of Plant Material Supplier Companies (ROEPMV) has been renamed the Register of Professional Plant Operators of Catalonia (ROPVEG Cat).El Registre d’operadors professionals de vegetals de Catalunya unifica una gran diversitat de normativa europea, estatal i autonòmica, que regula la producció i comercialització de material vegetal i l’autenticitat varietal del material comercialitzat. Aquesta disposició s’aplica a la producció, emmagatzematge, comercialització o posada al mercat de vegetals, productes vegetals i altres objectes que són o poden ser útils en l’agricultura i la silvicultura, a la certificació de llavors sota control oficial, a la neteja de grans de cereals de fecundació autògama i de lleguminoses, a la comercialització de llavors a granel, a la producció de material vegetal amb destinació a la pròpia explotació i a les varietats locals d’interès agrari a Catalunya. AVÍS: A partir de març de 2024 el conjunt de dades que abans tenia el nom de Registre oficial d’empreses proveïdores de material vegetal (ROEPMV) passa a denominar-se Registre d’operadors professionals de vegetals de Catalunya (ROPVEG Cat).
