This dataset provides land use data for the Île-de-France region as it stood in 1949, classified into 11 categories. It is published via the Île-de-France regional open data portal. The 1949 update was produced through on-screen digitisation based on a historical black-and-white regional digital orthophotograph with 50 cm resolution, acquired from IGN (France's national geographic institute).
