This API provides annual counts of sports federation licences from 2020 to 2024, broken down by department within the Occitanie region, as well as by sex, age group, and sports federation. The source is the census of licences and clubs compiled by INJEP-MEDES (Ministry for sport-related statistics in France). Depending on the sport, figures for a given year correspond either to the N-1/N sporting season or to the civil year N. The dataset is published via the Occitanie regional open-data portal and is useful for analyzing sports participation trends across departments, demographics, and federations.
