Night time noise indicator for major roads
This dataset provides a WFS layer showing night-time noise indicator (Lnight) levels for major roads in Malta, representing the noise indicator used to assess sleep disturbance. It is produced according to the requirements of EU Directive 2002/49/EC on the assessment and management of environmental noise, and is published by the Planning Authority Malta. The layer forms part of Malta's national noise mapping obligations under the Environmental Noise Directive, covering major road infrastructure at national scale.This layer shows the night time noise indicator levels which represent the noise indicator for sleep disturbance in major roads as defined for Malta according to the requirements of Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise.
