Nephrops Underwater Television Survey Functional Units Statistical Rectangles
This dataset provides the geographic boundaries of Functional Units and statistical rectangles used in the Nephrops (Nephrops norvegicus) Underwater Television Survey around the Irish coast. Nephrops occupy distinct sandy or muddy seabed areas suitable for burrow construction, and their emergence from burrows varies with time of year. The survey areas defined here support stock assessment and monitoring of Nephrops populations in Irish waters.
