This dataset, published by Métropole Aix-Marseille-Provence, provides annual statistics on births for municipalities within the metropolitan area, covering the years 2009 to 2018, as released on 19 September 2019. It counts live births as well as declaratory birth judgments. The location recorded for each birth is the mother's place of residence rather than the actual place of birth.
