This dataset presents the results of the Hamburg peatland survey conducted in 2016, published by LGV Hamburg (the Hamburg State Office for Geoinformation and Surveying). It provides a map showing the distribution of peat deposits and bogs across the Hamburg area, along with descriptions of the thickness of near-surface peat layers found in Hamburg's peatlands.
