Monimuotoisuudelle tärkeät metsäalueet / High biodiversity value forests 2018 (Zonation) (FIN, ENG, SWE)
This dataset consists of 12 result maps from Zonation analyses covering the forested area of Finland (excluding the Åland Islands), depicting the biodiversity values of Finnish forests. The analyses prefixed VMA (6 in total) cover the whole of Finland, while those prefixed AMA cover a more limited area. The maps rank forest areas according to their significance for biodiversity conservation, based on spatial conservation prioritization methodology.
