Locally Valued Landscape
This dataset identifies locally defined landscape areas valued for their contribution to the setting of particular features or settlements within Great Britain. Within these designated areas, new development proposals are required to demonstrate that they do not have a detrimental effect on the landscape character or on the settlements they help to define.
