List of top patent applicants - year 2020
This dataset ranks the top patent applicants in France for 2020, published by the Institut national de la propriété industrielle (INPI), the national industrial property office. It highlights major companies investing in innovation, with Groupe PSA, Safran, and Groupe Valeo leading the ranking. Among the top 50 applicants, 13 are public research organizations, a rise from previous years, alongside three mid-cap companies.
