This dataset relates to Finland's national reporting under the EU Birds Directive, which requires member states to report to the European Commission every six years on the directive's implementation. The reporting includes an assessment of population size and population trend for all species covered by the directive. Assessments have been produced for periods such as 2008–2012, with subsequent reporting rounds following the same six-year cycle.
