Land Cover Map 2007 v1.2 (1km dominant aggregate class, GB) Web Map Service
This Web Map Service provides a 1km resolution raster view of the Land Cover Map 2007 for Great Britain, published by the Environmental Information Data Centre. Each 1km pixel represents the dominant aggregate land cover class within that area, derived from aggregations of more detailed target classes that broadly correspond to UK Broad Habitats. The dataset offers a generalised, nationwide summary of land cover suitable for regional-scale mapping and analysis, complementing the more detailed target class version of the same survey. It is derived from satellite and other remote sensing data collected as part of the 2007 land cover survey of Great Britain.This view shows a 1km resolution raster version of the Land Cover Map 2007 for Great Britain.
