This dataset provides the Heat Expenditure Index (IDC) for buildings in the canton of Geneva, Switzerland, expressed in megajoules per square metre per year (MJ/m2a). The index measures the annual final energy consumed by a building to meet its heating and domestic hot water needs, averaged over two or three years to smooth out annual variations such as weather conditions.
