This national API from Luxembourg provides yearly vital-statistics data on the crude birth rate and total fertility rate, published as part of the High Value Dataset (HVD) Annex 4 statistics under table 4. The crude birth rate is the ratio of live births during a year to the average population that year, expressed per 1,000 population. The total fertility rate represents the mean number of children a woman would bear over her lifetime if she experienced the age-specific fertility rates of a given year. Access is free and requires no authentication.Crude birth rate : The ratio of the number of live births during the year to the average population in that year. The value is expressed per 1 000 population. Total fertility rate : Mean number of children that would be born alive to a woman during her lifetime if she were to pass through and survive her childbearing years conforming to the fertility rates by age of a given year.
