This dataset is a prototype of a continuous digital model of Portugal's geological cartography at a scale of 1:200,000. Mapped units have been inventoried and organized according to a Unified Legend, with work carried out to standardize and harmonize adjoining geological sheets and reconcile them with current classification schemes.
