| 1 | 7 | Minstroom | GSD | Het Minstroomgebied is uniek in Utrecht omdat het oorspronkelijke landelijke hovenierskarakter hier nog herkenbaar aanwezig is. Het gaat om de restanten van de hoveniersgronden, de nog aanwezige boerderijen en hovenierswoningen en de loop van de Minstroom. Oudwijk is een van de oudste hoveniersgebieden van Utrecht en heeft lange tijd de groenten voor de stad geleverd. De Abstederdijk en de Notenbomenlaan vormden van oudsher de toegangswegen tot de stad. Aan het eind van de 19de eeuw is met het toenemen van de bebouwing de hoveniersfunctie van het gebied verschoven naar het wonen. Door de bebouwing zijn veel hoveniersgronden nu veelal binnenterreinen, op één bijzondere uitzondering na. Vanuit de Zonstraat is er nog steeds een doorkijk op een aangesloten stuk tuindersgebied mogelijk.
