Floodplains outside of the federal inventary
This dataset compiles floodplain areas identified across Switzerland that were mapped but not included in the federal inventory of floodplains. It distinguishes between objects excluded because they did not meet the assessment criteria for federal inventory status (referred to as Quality II) and other categories of excluded objects. The data is published by the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU) as part of national environmental and water-management geospatial datasets.
