ERRUISSOL - Diffuse runoff risk
This API provides access to maps of areas at risk of diffuse surface runoff across the Walloon territory in Belgium. The maps represent a potential runoff coefficient derived using the SCS (Soil Conservation Service) method, which models the runoff rate expected in response to a reference rainfall event defined by set intensity, duration and other parameters. The dataset is published by the Service public de Wallonie and is useful for regional hydrological analysis, land-use planning, and assessment of flood and erosion risk linked to diffuse runoff at the local scale within Wallonia.The maps of areas at risk of diffuse runoff represent the rate (coefficient) of potential runoff on the Walloon territory.
