This dataset is an extract, limited to the Eurométropole de Strasbourg area, from the French National Register of Elected Officials (Répertoire National des Élus, RNE). The register is maintained and kept up to date by the prefectures and the departments of the Ministry of the Interior, based notably on information supplied by elected officials during their term declarations. It covers municipal councillors, intercommunal (EPCI) representatives, departmental councillors and regional councillors, providing details such as their names, mandates and functions.
