This dataset provides boundaries and details of conservation areas designated within the Dartmoor National Park area by the Dartmoor National Park Authority. Local authorities, including National Park Authorities, have the power to designate conservation areas in locations of special architectural or historic interest whose character or appearance is considered worth protecting or enhancing, judged against local and regional criteria.
