Day evening night noise indicator in the industrial areas
This API/dataset layer provides the day-evening-night noise indicator (Lden) levels representing overall annoyance from noise in industrial areas in Malta, as defined under Directive 2002/49/EC on the assessment and management of environmental noise. It is published by the Planning Authority Malta and accessed via a WFS service. The data supports national environmental noise mapping and assessment obligations, offering a standardized indicator for comparing noise exposure across industrial zones in Malta in line with EU environmental noise reporting requirements.This layer shows the day-evening-night noise indicator levels which represent the noise indicator for overall annoyance in the industrial areas as defined for Malta according to the requirements of Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise.
