This API provides access to the watercourse sub-layer of the harmonized study on local green and blue ecological networks (trames vertes et bleues) across the Centre-Val de Loire region in France. The dataset includes biodiversity reservoirs, defined as areas where biodiversity is richest and where species can complete most of their life cycle, along with associated ecological corridors linked to watercourses. It is published and maintained by the Région Centre-Val de Loire and is intended to support regional biodiversity conservation, land-use planning, and ecological connectivity analysis at the local level.
