This API provides the Degree of Urbanisation Classification, which characterises settlement intensity across cells of the 250-metre and 1 km² statistical grid where population resides. Based on population density, grid cells are grouped into distinct area categories, distinguishing densely populated urban centres from intermediate and rural zones.
