It represents the plane formed by the roadway together with adjacent elements such as verges, sidewalks and cycle paths, and may include different types of mobility infrastructure, whether pedestrian, vehicular or other, such as tramways. The dataset provides a geometric definition of road-related surfaces for mapping and cartographic purposes, distinguishing the carriageway from ancillary areas.
