This API provides access to INSEE's official geographic code, a reference dataset of codes and labels for French administrative divisions, including communes, cantons, arrondissements, départements, regions, overseas collectivities, and foreign countries and territories. It is maintained by INSEE, France's national statistics institute, and published via the Etalab open-data initiative. The dataset has been updated in its structure since 21 December 2020.
