Air Quality Management Areas
This dataset covers Air Quality Management Areas (AQMAs) designated under the Environment Act 1995, which requires local authorities in England, including East Staffordshire Council, to identify locations where national air quality standards for key pollutants are unlikely to be met. Where an AQMA is designated, the responsible council must produce a plan of action setting out measures to achieve the required standards.
