The Administrative boundaries dataset is an additional set compared to the dataset offered by the BRK. The responsibility for the Administrative boundaries dataset and associated API lies with Informatiehuis Ruimte. The target group of the Administrative boundaries dataset includes all users who need the administrative boundaries of municipalities, provinces and national borders set by the Land Registry. In addition to these boundaries, the boundaries of water boards have also been added, these boundaries have been supplied by Het Waterschapshuis. In addition to the national border that the Land Registry establishes, this API also unlocks two national borders that have been supplied by the Ministry of the Interior for use within the DSO. The dataset also includes the OINs of the competent authorities, the ownership of the OINs lies with Logius and in the API only OINs of the competent authorities included in the dataset are returned. With regard to the dataset included in this dataset with the management limits of the 21 water boards in the Netherlands, the following applies: “It concerns the as-is situation as at 01-04-2019. This set is intended for use in the Digital System Environment Act (DSO). The set does not yet conform to INSPIRE specifications. Substantive harmonisation (topological correctness) by the water boards has yet to be done. Each water board is the source holder of its own management limit.
