This WMS API provides a georeferenced raster layer defining a residential control zone (ZOE) on the island of Syros, Greece. It sets the minimum plot-subdivision threshold and other building restrictions and conditions for areas outside approved town plans and outside the boundaries of settlements existing before 1923, covering the municipalities of Ermoupolis and Ano Syros and the communities of Manna, Vari, Poseidonia, Foinikas and Galissas. The dataset is published and maintained by the Municipality of Syros-Ermoupolis and is derived from Government Gazette 339/D/1989-06-02.
